Salary:              Initially £8.00 per hour rising to £8.45 with experience

Ty Elli Group Practice occupy two premises, one in Llanelli town centre and the other in Machynys with a combined patient list size of 14,300.

We are looking for permanent Medical Receptionists to join our team. The hours are to be confirmed but will consist of a mixture of part time and full time roles.

 

You will need to be available to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am to 6:30pm and be able be flexible to cover leave.

 

The successful candidates will need to be able to assist and signpost patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective manner whilst providing general assistance to the practice team projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. You will need to be able to prove that you can work successfully under pressure within the practice team whilst having the ability to handle and resolve challenging situations.

 

Full training will be given but previous experience of working in a GP practice or similar role with transferable skills will be highly desirable. The posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
