Coronavirus Updates

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a global pandemic that has had a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of people across the world and of course our patients here at Ty Elli.

It is important for patients to stay informed about the virus and the best ways to protect themselves and their loved ones. We endeavour to keep our patients updated on the most recent Coronavirus guidelines, including how to recognize symptoms of the virus, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you think you have been infected.

Rules and procedures surrounding COVID-19 have relaxed, which doesn’t mean we should be carefree, we still need to be careful.

Coronavirus vaccinations

The importance of coronavirus vaccines should not be understated. Vaccines are a powerful tool in protecting those around you, as well as providing protection for you and your family.

Vaccines work by helping the body develop immunity to the virus, either by introducing a weakened form of the virus or by introducing a component of the virus. By doing so, the body is better equipped to fight off the virus, lessening symptoms and preventing serious illness.

Vaccines also help reduce the spread of the virus, which can protect vulnerable populations, such as the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions. Ultimately, vaccines are a key component in protecting ourselves and our loved ones from the virus and should be taken seriously.

You will be contacted when you are due a COVID-19 vaccination.
