Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions may be ordered online via My Health Online (MHOL).

Things to remember

In certain cases, if patients are unable to access MHOL, they may visit Ty Elli surgery to order a repeat prescription
With each repeat prescription you will receive a tear-off slip which lists all the items you have been prescribed.
You should return the slip to the surgery indicating, with a tick, which items you require.
Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed (not including weekends and holidays).
Prescriptions may be collected during opening hours (i.e., Monday to Friday).

Please note: We regret that we CANNOT take repeat prescriptions over the telephone unless the patient is housebound.

Medication reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year. This will be to review these regular medications; a notification should appear on the slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
